Enigma is one of the most visually distinctive Psilocybe cubensis mutations available for microscopy study. Unlike typical cubensis strains, Enigma is a non-sporulating mutant — meaning it does not produce a conventional spore print, making each syringe a carefully prepared specimen.
Under the microscope, Enigma presents thick-walled, densely pigmented spores with a prominent germ pore — morphologically similar to standard cubensis but with notable deviations in wall thickness and suspension density that make it a high-value comparison specimen for advanced taxonomy researchers.
